No one would deny the power and popularity of video. Video online is everywhere because people love it. Keeping people’s attention is so much easier using videos. So why wouldn’t you use it in your affiliate business?

Record Your Testimonial
This is probably the easiest of all. Simply turn on your recorder and talk. It does not need to be polished or pro. Just seeing another real person endorsing a product helps your viewers decide to buy. And the mess-ups or mistakes just make the video more real. So serious, just turn on the camera and talk. And if you don’t want to show your face, use one of the next ideas.
Do a Video Walk-Through
This technique works slightly more subconsciously. Basically you’re doing a tutorial on how to use the product. And seeing it being used is a great way to make people want to buy it. If it’s useful, then what you’re teaching just makes people want it. So pick some really helpful aspect of the product and show how to use that.
Ordering
This one is killer! Record a video of yourself actually buying the product. Watching you make a live purchase will inspire your viewer like nothing else. First of all it’s what’s called “social proof”. Once they see you doing it, they feel more secure. It also build your viewers trust. People believe you’re giving them good advice if you take that advice yourself. And finally, it creates envy. They see you getting the satisfaction of making the purchase and that makes them want it. You can add additional juice to this one with: In order to get to see the inside, you gotta buy the product.
Sneak Peak
This one is perfect for building up the value of what you’re promoting. In this case you record a screen share of the inside of the product. And show them everything they get by ordering. This one also helps to remove the skepticism. It’s much easier to trust they’re getting something if they actually seen it.

There’s no technical knowledge required. There are simple software programs that make it easy to create videos. Really, the software does all the work. So please don’t let technical worries slow you down. Remain focused on the benefits:
- More sales Using videos in your affiliate marketing will dramatically increase your sales. Start using videos because people love them.
- Reduce refunds You’ll also have less of your commissions taken back. Your customers will know what they’re getting into ahead of time. So they’ll be less likely to refund.
- Rise above the competition! This is such a simple technique. But pretty much no one does it. That puts you ahead of the pack.
